Amy is a double board certified nurse practitioner who opened Restore Wellness Collective in 2023 after her own GLP-1 weight loss journey. She says, “GLP-1s changed my life. I struggled with food noise and boredom eating and did a lot of yo-yo dieting over the years. I gained a significant amount of weight during COVID and came to the realization that I had to do something else for my health. I found GLP-1 medications and knew immediately that I had a duty to get this into the hands of everyone else who has struggled with their weight.”
Amy did her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Alverno College and her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Concordia University. She is currently in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Purdue University and is set to graduate in early 2025.
Amy is a member of the US Army Reserve and has served for over 20 years. She lives with her husband, Steffen, and has two Great Danes, Navi and Willow, who provide her with endless amounts of love and have no idea that they are giant. She enjoys reading, travel, days on the lake, and helping people love themselves again.

Wendy joins us with decades of experience in the medical field. An interest in medicine sparked during a class at UW-Milwaukee, turned into a career in medical billing & administration. Since Wendy is Amy’s mom, it was only natural that when Restore Wellness Collective started taking off, she would come aboard to help with day-to-day operations.
From payroll to ordering/receiving supplies, answering client messages, keeping up with software & financing vendors, and the occasional Starbucks run—she does whatever it takes to allow Amy to devote more time to seeing clients. Wendy is married to Art, her husband of almost 30 years, and together they have 4 children: Adam, Tania, Andrea & Amy, and two dogs, Ollie and Trixie. She enjoys reading, swimming, and traveling when she gets the opportunity.
